Engagements

I love that engagement photos often take place in a location that’s meaningful to the couple — whether it’s a park where they had their first date, or their favorite spot in the city. These locations hold a special significance, and that sense of place adds so much depth to the images. It’s not just a photo shoot; it’s a memory in the making, and I get to help preserve that.
On top of that, engagement sessions are an opportunity for me to get to know the couple's style and preferences. They might not realize it, but it’s a rehearsal for the wedding day. We can play with different poses, lighting, and compositions, so when the big day arrives, they already feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. It also helps us fine-tune how I’ll approach the wedding day, which gives everyone peace of mind.
Overall, engagement photos are special because they capture the love, excitement, and intimacy of the couple before they say "I do." It’s a moment of pure connection, and it’s an honor to be there to document it. Every time I look back at engagement photos, I see the beginning of a lifelong journey, and that’s something I’ll always cherish.
